GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following general terms and conditions apply to all bookings made at La Bicicleta Hostal, business owned by CULTURA VIAJERA S.A., an anonymous society with RUC J0310000250758, which is legally incorporated in the Dirección General de Ingresos (DGI) and Commercial Registry of Nicaragua.

Room reservations included on the website or on any online travel agency shall be governed by the following hiring general terms and conditions which the user accepts when booking. These hiring general terms and conditions are in effect for all accommodation offered on the web and on any online travel agency which may be modified without any prior notice and don’t affect changes to bookings already made.

La Bicicleta Hostal reserves the right to modify the commercial offer presented on the website or on any online travel agency (changes to accommodation, prices, promotions and other commercial and service conditions) at any time. La Bicicleta Hostal makes every effort within its means to provide the accurate information and without typographical errors. In the event that at some point an error of this kind occurred, always outside the will of La Bicicleta Hostal, it would be proceed immediately to its correction. If there is a typographical error in one of the displayed prices and a customer had made a purchase decision based on that error, La Bicicleta Hostal will inform the customer their error and the customer will be entitled to cancel the purchase without any cost for him or her.

1. RESERVATION PROCEDURES

The reservation is made by selecting the chosen accommodation, once the selection in completed the booking procedure will continue, proceeding to the completion of personal data and the means of payment and email through the reservation system.

The acceptance of the reservation implies that the users consent to the processing of their personal data, including data from the credit card, with the sole purpose of formalizing the booking.

Such information must be completed no later than 48 hours after the reservation of accommodation has been requested. Once all customer and reservation data information is sent, we will proceed to confirm the reservation by e-mail immediately, to the e-mail the user has indicated.

2. RESERVATION PAYMENT

Payment of the reservation can be made by credit card through a secure gateway or also by payment in cash. To do this, you need to have registered your card in our system and make sure it does not expire before the date of Check-In.

3. CANCELLATION/MODIFICATION POLICY

La Bicicleta Hostal guarantees its customers the possibility to cancel their reservation at any time and at no cost if the cancellation is notified with a minimum of 24 hours in advance. The total or partial cancellation of a reservation must be communicated to the hostel by sending an email to [email protected]. In the case of not notifying the hostel with such minimum time in advance, the customer agrees to pay the amount of the first night, which will be deducted from the credit card provided.

In case the customer wants to modify an existing booking once she/he has done the check in, fees may apply according to the case:
Cancellation of one night: pays one night
Cancellation of two nights: pays two nights
Cancellation of more than two nights: pays two nights

4. PRICE AND TAXES

The prices of the products offered by La Bicicleta Hostal are shown in American dollars (USD $), being added over the price of the products the payment of the corresponding Value Added Tax (VAT 15%) and Tourism Tax (2%) in effect at the time of the purchase.

5. INTERNAL POLICIES

Check In is at 2 PM and Check Out at 11 AM. However, according to the customers’ arrival time and the hostel’s occupation there will be the possibility of making exceptions, upon request. Regarding external visits, these are not allowed to enter the rooms and will be received throughout the whole day, until the reception desk is closed. We reserve the right to refuse admission of visits and customers, even if they have made a reservation. We accept the access of pets, after notifying the hostel and depending on its size.

6. CUSTOMER´S OBLIGATIONS

The customer agrees at all times to provide truthful information about the data requested in user registration forms or making the reservation, and to keep them updated at all times.

The customer agrees to accept all terms and conditions contained in this Booking Policy, understanding that they reflect the best goodwill for the type of activity performed by CULTURA VIAJERA S.A.

7. INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

CULTURA VIAJERA S.A. owns all industrial property rights contained in the website. Brands and distinctive signs are duly registered with the Registry of trademarks and protected by law. The rights of intellectual property, its graphic design and source code are owned by CULTURA VIAJERA S.A.

8. SUBMISSION

The parties involved agree freely and voluntarily, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply, that all disputes, disagreements or contentious issues arising from these conditions shall be finally settled by the protection of the courts of the city of Managua.
